Il a plu aujourd'hui....Yes, the first real rain day of the year....by that I mean there was no freezing rain or snow!
Mother's Day at my Moms! Selah with cousin, Hartley. T'was a lovely day!...I was grateful for my gift from Rene and the littles, a beautiful orchid - of which there will be some photos, sometime.
I can't wait to the pics of your orchid.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a user name on TF yet. I just found the board from a link on mothering.com and followed it and then read your post. I have to go back and sign up so I can do more regular posting.
As far as the taste of goat's milk. Raw goat's milk, where the does are seperate from the bucks, tastes just like raw cow's milk. No difference. So the answer is a profound, Yes, you would love your own goat's milk as long as the girls were by themselves and your jars are clean! :o) Pasturized goat's milk is too yucky for me to drink as well. You aren't alone there.
And concerning how I do it all...well, I bet if you listed your day to day activities in detail, you would see actually how much you get accomplished and others would look at you in awe! :o) As women and mothers, we just make it all work with God's grace.
Oh, I liked the umbrella photo, with the girls receding. Very nice. I am working on a quilt right now that involves an embroidered rendition of a photograph I made of Addison along with a play on a Dali painting. Long story, but I may be asking you about "borrowing" a photo or two from your collection for my next quilted piece.
ReplyDeleteHope to see you at mini-francs... if not, can we come over and play soon?
