A Narnia Party

We are back after 2 weeks of camping! Good to be home...but of course it always leaves us with a taste for more..nope, not more camping - MORE COUNTRY! Some day soon.
But for now, a little glimpse at a very Narnian Birthday party;
My dear friend Kelly ::who should have a blog:: and her family put on a spectacular birthday for 2 of their girls with a live tour of The Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe. Beginning with entering into Narnia through the patio doors which were disguised as wardrobe doors...hundreds of bubbles were blown by the children for snow...even the White Witch made an entrance, treating all the children to turkish delight and, well, cold chocolate milk - as it was a summer day!
In a clever costume tent the children dressed up in costumes that I coveted for my own regular closet...made crowns and necklaces for the feast at Cair Paravel..

...and even Aslan made an appearance at the end! Well done Kevin and Kelly!!!
