To Do or Not To Do...

Part of my initial motive for blogging was accountability...I think I've drifted a little from that vision, so in the flavor of rekindling this goal....

Daily, I want to...
Wake-up Early, Go to bed not too late
Read
Write
Knit/Crochet
Sew
Home School
Declutter
Prepare home cooked meals or leftovers
Get outdoors depending on weather.
Hold my children and play and read to them.

Every Other Day, I want to...
Practice Music(song/voice/guitar/piano practice)
Bake/Cook/Can/Dry/Something in the kitchen other than the 3 meals
Exercise (Burst or Resistance training)
Organize

Weekly, I want to...
Plan most of the week's meals
Work on choreography for classes/recitals
Quilting
Social activities (visiting other families or having a mama and her children here).
Painting/Fiber Art project

Monthly, I want to....
Read 2-3 books
Have 1-2 garments sewn
Have 1-3 items knit/crocheted
Have a tidier more organized creative space and home!

As it comes to mind and the pages of my journal I may add or subtract to this list.

  1. wow! That's a very ambitious list, especially for a SAHM! Bless you in your efforts.

  2. I think every blogger goes through a time when we wonder why we do it. You don't owe us (your readers) anything at all, so only do it if it doesn't add stress to your life and you enjoy it. I enjoy reading your blog.

I agree with Coralee - that's an ambitious list. I don't do half of that and I don't even homeschool. Good for you!

  3. Oh Evelyn, You are so sweet! Originally I don't think I had my settings on public - b/c I was just thinking of having a creative space online, where I could jot down hopes, dreams, ambitions blah blah blah.

Coralee and Evelyn, it may sound ambitious - and I for sure don't get through all of these intentions...but as my hubby always reminds me that there is power in putting down in print your goals - I hope that includes typing!

Also I know a lady who is in her 60's who quilts, knits, does tatting, lace making, felts and everything above - she has encouraged me to work our fiber art on an almost daily basis in bite size pieces - I guess it is how we can accomplish the most.
