I'm here....

As I'm tiding up the "salon", and arranging little chairs, I have this strange 'friendly giant' feeling. Remembering that old children's show in the early 80's, when the friendly giant who talks to a giraffe arranges some small chairs around a hearth for "us" to sit.

When I was pregnant with my first, Selah, I crocheted this little rug...hoping it was going to be a little bigger. I was inspired by some local Hudderite rugs, but I have realized that an oval probably is easier than a circle.

Hats and cup cozies are my crochet projects these days. I guess I'm in for the short term satisfaction rather that the long term. I've got enough unfinished projects that lost my attention and have joined the collection of things that will be taken apart "one day" or morphed into something else.

  1. nice! I have a year-old wool cloth diaper cover crotchet project in hibernation, but last night went to a friend's house & learned to knit, so I've totally got "the bug" again. i need to dig through our garage & release the diaper cover from it's prison beneath all the boxes (that's where it landed when we moved in october)! I think you've pushed me over the edge just a tad more. :)
