Yes, enough to get the nerves gradually escalating! Our lovely character apt. comes with character doorknobs and deadbolts. My 20 month old closed herself in the bathroom, and turned the deadbolt.....YIKES! i was just glad that she was more interested in clinging to the door than exploreing, and getting into who knows what! so my neighbore and i, with the somewhat comfort and direction of the 911 operator, took the doorknob off and peeled part of the door frame off to break in .....let me tell ya, it was not super easy! i would have been so embarrassed if the firemen had to come and break in the door, at least my house would have smelled of fresh baked bread... my neighbore said she thought it was right of passage for a child to lock themselves in the bathroom...well 27 years ago i did it in the old farm house we lived in when i was 3 or 4, and the firefighters had to come get me out!
