Vintage Swapping

This summer I had the great pleasure of participating in vintage swap ~THank-yoU Heather~

It's about time to "show and tell" - better late than never....I'm think I said the same thing last time;)  I enjoyed  putting together the above package for my lovely partner, a Montessori preschool teacher Evangeline.  I'm already forgetting what was in it...A green floral velvet vintage dress that had been cut shorter, that I had held on to FOR YEARS for a project that never happened - passed that on...some lace, a Scottish felted scarf, vintage glass buttons and other notions...I've forgotten if there was anything else?!

Evangeline sent me the most adorable package...It included some "Workbasket" vintage issues which has absolutely priceless advertisements in it, besides some great projects including knitting 2 socks at one time, one inside of the other! I intend to give that a try....Very very cute sewing cards - perfect for my 3 and 5 year old (although I'm tempted to frame a couple of them instead)...a French matching game; Bois et Champs....priceless invitations for a kitchen shower....

Some vintage linen n'lace, a collection of buttons (my almost 6yr. old has been using these for math).....A lovely collection of fabrics for some fun projects!

Thank-you Evangeline!

  2. I'm glad you enjoyed the package. I had a blast putting it together.

I love the scarf you sent me. I was going to re-purpose it, but my boyfriend has claimed it. Thanks so much!
